I am the proud owner of Eastern Arts Nails and Beauty. I have been in the nails and beauty industry for 10 years, with a very keen interest from early childhood. My passion evolved having learnt the art of eyebrow threading at a very young age, this was a tradition which was passed down through generations in many parts of Asia.

Eastern Arts Beauty was founded in April 2000 by myself offering a service of just eyebrow threading - an ancient art to beauty which was new to the UK.

It gave the eyebrows a fantastic clean finish without the use of any harsh products. Eyebrow threading became more and more popular as a result I became so busy that I found myself renting a chair within a small premises. At the time I was the only therapist offering this treatment in the south coast region and found clients would travel from miles to have their eyebrows threaded.

In 2001 I completed my NVQ 2 and 3 in Beauty Therapy and training in semi permanent make up. I have since opened three branches with a fantastic team of 25 therapists all hand picked to the very highest standard. Each EA branch offers a wide range of treatments including eyebrow threading in every branch.

As the business continues to grow with its own credibility a personal desire has lead me to develop a new premises known as The Eastern Arts School of Beauty Therapy based in Winchester. Here a selection of EA staff including myself will be offering a very unique teaching programme developing a bespoke training academy for enthusiastic individuals who are looking to develop professional skills in Beauty Therapy, Nail Care and Threading.

Eastern Arts Beauty is the original salon to have introduced threading in the south coast and is still one of a few if not the only salon offering this specialised treatment in-house.
